About EPIC Market

Located on Whyte Avenue, EPIC Market is a two-story food hall designed to bring the community together in a fresh and inviting way. With five restaurants, two bars, and a chef’s table, the space accommodates up to 400 guests, making it ideal for everything from weddings to anniversary parties and casual nights out. Catering to families, 30-somethings, and Whyte Avenue’s vibrant artist community, EPIC Market offers a safe, fun atmosphere perfect for enjoying good food and good company—without the need to stay out until 2 AM. We aim to redefine Whyte Avenue as a year-round hub for meaningful gatherings.

Since opening, we’ve hosted an impressive variety of events, including work celebrations, six-course dinners, a Maestro Fresh Wes concert, and even performances by the Edmonton Opera. Purpose-built for creativity, our venue is ready to bring your imagination to life. Looking ahead, we’re excited to host a chef and cocktail competition, celebrating culinary talent in a spirited showdown, and Founder's Dinners with the startup community, supporting innovation and connection on Whyte Avenue.

TCKP's Collaboration with EPIC Market

EPIC Market’s connection with The Connected Kitchen Project (TCKP) began when Michelle, an energetic visionary passionate about food and community, stepped in to take over our downtown space. Her drive to support food entrepreneurs and create inclusive opportunities made her a perfect match for the venue. As a mentor, I provide guidance on strategy, helping Michelle tackle challenges and prioritize goals, always serving as a sounding board for her ideas.

Collaboration is at the heart of our relationship, and we’re eager to explore shared opportunities to uplift the community. A dream project would be hosting large outdoor markets together at Station Park, merging EPIC Market’s event expertise with TCKP’s mission to foster food entrepreneurship. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Edmonton.
